More info needed: An ANA should never be ordered when Pregnant, since there will be a high chance of auto reactivity!! ANAs is a screening test that lacks Specificity , and many medical conditions may cause it to be positive! Thyroiditis, type1 DM, psoriasis, hepatitis, among many other conditions may cause Pos ANA! There is a better CTD panel called AVISE, see a Rheumatologist for further eval! Best!
