Does c3 & c4 have to be low to indicate lupus. my c3 was the only one low. i also had positive ana & i had more blood work done, but not back yet.

No single test: C3 is low more often than C4 in lupus but both can be normal. It is a diagnosis made on checklist -- point count. Best wishes.
