Not uncommon: It is not uncommon for women using Implanon / Nexplanon to have menstrual changes, including periods that last longer than normal, bleeding or spotting between periods, or missed periods. Whomever inserted this device should have counseled you about this. It is almost never serious (rarely if ever leads to anemia), but if you are concerned, see your dr to discuss options to manage these changes.
