A member asked:

My periods are around 10 days long and start really dark and full of clots but now its blood red and a constant flow also have the implant. advice?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gyn visit: If your implant is a hormonal birth control device, this can change your menses. Often times it will improve over time. It is best to follow up with your doctor to see if further work up could be helpful or if there is a different hormonal birth control to make your periods more manageable.
