Doctor found 2 ovarian cysts. one on each ovary. suggested a gynecologist. will i need surgery and is this normal? i know cysts are normal but 2??

Can happen. Depends.: Finding 2 cysts is more unusual than finding one, but given your age (22 yrs), it is not unusual. Also, cyst can form at a certain point in your menstrual cycle - the cyst houses the egg (in your case, potential twins - 2 eggs - if you become pregnant). In any case, usually a repeat ultrasound (at a later point in the cycle or another cycle) to see if it changes. Don't worry, but seeing a Gyne OK.
