A member asked:

I was diagnosed with a mild form of hashimoto-related hypothyroidism. i have no obvious symptoms. should i see a specialist? how often i see doc?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: Your pcp should be able to handle it, but make sure you're on replacement if your lab values show any deficiency in thyroid level. Once a year is usually adequate if stable and normal.
