Translucent edges: This will require at least some dental bonding of a composite to restore the lost enamel. You should also find out why they have thinned over time. Perhaps from bruxism or erosion or a combination of both. If you don't fine the cause and address it, the bonding may wear away and you will be back where you started. Have your own dentist evaluate this and recommend a solution.

Translucent teeth: Many time translucency is the result of wear from grinding, bite problems, or did erosion once the cause is found then bonding or crowns can be done to make them look great. See a dentist to evaluate this problem.
