I got 5 fillings the other day, two being my front teeth. i was flossing the right front tooth, the lateral incisor, and a very small clear piece wedged into my gum. is that normal? should i call my dentist?

That could be a sliver of excess adhesive. If you can floss it out, great, otherwise have your dentist remove it for you. This happens now and then with bonding.

Probably "flash," a little extra bonding material that has broken loose. If you can't remove it, call your Dentist. You should report this anyway. Let your Dentist make the decision how proceed.
