No: Gallbladder polyps are benign and not dangerous. They don't cause pain or blockage. There is no reason to remove the polyp or the entire gallbladder due to this. If you have right upper abdominal pain or discomfort, it is caused by something else and you should see your primary care doctor for evaluation.
