Likely broken: Depression of a knuckle with such a history suggests a boxers fracture.Time for a visit to urgent care and an x-ray.

Finger pain: and swelling & bruising. Your daughter needs to get her finger x-rayed to make sure nothing is broken. If it is and it heals out of alignment she can have trouble w/it for life. I know we loose our temper, but constructive anger vs. distructive anger is what we need to choose to work toward. Peace and good health.
