I noticed between my pointer and middle fingers on my right hand was swollen. not the knuckles but in between them. i do have ra/oa, i didnt eat a lot of salt today. any ideas? a little on the left hand but more swelling in the right hand.

Strain: Suspect you have strained tendons there. RA will decrease your reserve for injury. Try elevation and ice massage to treat; then review grasping or twisting motions which might have caused this change. Pressure from Round door knobs, key pinches carrying bags by allowing them to hang on hooked fingers will often cause localized trauma like this. Also, review with your rheumatologist or FP.Good luck
