Boxers Fracture: You have likely fractured the head of your 5th metacarpal neck with possible displacement and angulation. Do not use your hand, protect it and visit an Orthopaedic Surgeon in clinic. You need x-rays and splinting until an ortho has a chance to schedule you for a closed reduction of the fracture (putting it back in place) and then percutaneous pinning, casting, or in some cases operative fixation.
