Reaction or tendinit: Difficult to know what is going on without more info. If it was her pitching hand could be just overuse tendinitis treated with rest, ice, elevation an nsaids. If it was her glove hand could be a reaction to the glove material. That info would be helpful to determine a more specific answer. Sounds to me like acute inflammation of some sort. Treat as above at first.
