Tooth Movement: It may be hard for your dentist to determine if our tooth has shifted, especially if they do not have a reference to go by. Bone loss decreases the support of the teeth, so yes, bone loss may result in shifting.

Yes: See your Dentist. Know that tooth movement throughout life is normal, but can be minimized. Referral to an Orthodontist (Initial Examination usually free) may be the wisest course to pursue. And yes, any bone loss exacerbates destabilization.
