Bone loss: The bone helps support the teeth. So yes, if you continue to lose bone over the years you are on your way to losing teeth. Crowded teeth make it more likely for food to collect around the teeth and more difficult to keep them clean. Proper tooth brushing, flossing and a diet that does not promote tooth decay and periodontal disease is essential for healthy teeth and gums.

Bone loss: You’re too young for bone loss. Crowding can make it harder to clean as well as placing untoward stress on bone support. If you don’t floss you are not removing bacteria from about a quarter of your tooth surface. Would recommend evaluation by both a Periodontist and an Orthodontist.
