How is the heart rate when chest pains occur due to heart problems, high or low or just normal? it should be high though bcoz heart struggles to pump.

Varies: It is not possible to diagnose a cardiac condition by HR alone. Some heart attacks can cause a slow rate, sometimes if the heart is in failure the rate can elevate. If there is a flow problem again the rate increases to compensate It always important to evaluate ANY heart condition be it rate pain or arrhythmia
