See your physician: Recent yellowish/brown mucus with a few occasions of small amounts of bright blood in the mucus is of concern. Inflammatory bowel disease, infectious conditions, malabsorption disorders and cancer are all a possibility. However further evaluation may reveal just hemorrhoidal bleeding and nothing else serious. **It is very important that you see your physician to evaluate your symptoms.

Stool Issues: I wouldn't automatically jump to cancer without first knowing what your risk factors are- family history, etc. What is concerning is the blood and mucus in the stool, which could be for a variety of reasons. You should this get evaluated as soon as possible.
