Left lung: Since the heart is on the left side of the chest cage, there is less lung volume there than on the right side. Therefore the right side of the chest will have more resonance.

Yes: Yes it should, but if you feel otherwise fine I would not worry. If you are having any problems with breathing, frequent cough, shortness of breath with activity, then you should see your doctor.
