I assume you: are feeling the FRONT of your chest (Its impossible to do this where doctors do it (upper BACK of yourchest) and the LEFT side contains YOUR HEART..the so called "fremitus" you feel is most likely your HEARTBEAT! Hope this helps! Dr Z
