Lip burns: 39 year old gentleman with lip burns. How painful are your burns? If they were minor first degree burns simply applying topical antibiotic ointment or lip balm will help but if it was a painful blistering partial thickness burn or a serious burn with blisters that you can tell is deep but has no pain you may require a full exam to determine whether you require further treatment. Wear lip sunscreen
