Be patient: Your body will heal - lips often remarkably quickly. No need to 'treat' -- but can do a few things to make it feel better while it heals. After the first few minutes -- many people like using cool or cold to relieve pain - popsickles or an ice cube in a wet washcloth can be soothing. Pain relievers can be used if really painful.
