Unclear diagnoses: Rising betaHCG levels particularly in very early pregnancy, need to be correlated with accurate gestational age and sonographic findings in order to reach a clear diagnosis and answer your questions and concern. At 6 wks , there may be a small embryo which is not called a fetus or a baby. Your obstetrical team should be able to tell you what is going on and offer you some sense of direction.
