See below : Varies. The contrast used in Miri typically follows the blood flow and so would be likely to concentrate in areas of increased blood flow such as your swollen ankle. It can also be helpful in visualizing an abcess as well. Hopefully you will get the information you need from the mri and the doctors can then get you feeling better.
