My second mri showed up normal again, so where are my headaches coming from?i think i might have arthritis in my arms and neck,im 60,i dont drink, never smoked or done drugs, i do have bad kidneys,not sure why,dont drink sodas for yrs,have low iron t?

Not surprised! I wonder if your doctor rules out the condition called vasculitis. If not, you should have blood tests done for this condition because you also have kidney disease. However, if you are followed with a kidney specialist, he likely had these tests done already. Be aware of headache could be a med adverse effect. Do you recall if you had taken any new med before the headache occurred?

An MRI is a way to exclude a "structural" problem in the brain giving rise to your headaches. Please realize, the vast majority of headaches will "not" show a structural abnormality of the brain. There are different types of headaches,(tension, migraines, clusters).. often a definitive cause isn't found. Neck arthritis can trigger tension headaches, but can't say with certainty it is the cause.
