Light pain back of leg, behind knee. never had surgery there & never long periods of immobilization. i am active & i run. is it unlikely to be dvt?

Unlikely: You are right, DVT is unlikely, unfortunately always possible. It is possible that your pain is muscular as you are a runner. Another possibility would be a popliteal cyst if the pain is strictly located in the fossa behind your knee.
