I was treated for uti in jan .when i went last 2 weeks i found out i have uti again gyno gave keflex 4x daily for 10 days.still have pain in side sediment an cloudy pee can i ask my gyno for a culture.

UTI: Need more info besides flank pain, but obviously this is not normal. Antibiotics used empirically may miss the causative organism. Some people do not absorb Cephalexin well, and it is not very good for upper urinary tract infection. Yes, you can and probably should be cultured and reexamined and have a urinalysis at a minimum. Hope you get better soon.
