Not necessarily: You might have a partially treated infection - majority of the bacteria have been killed but there are enough to continue to cause symptom. You may need another course of antibiotics - check with your doctor. Kidney infection generally makes you feel sicker - fever, nausea, vomiting, flank pain - because the infection is no longer contained in a confined space.
