Not unexpected...: Iris, what you experienced is a lot for any one person. It is not surprising that you are experiencing low mood, sertraline or not. I admire your resilience. Several health: conditions and a loss can result in reactive depression. This is a condition that happens in response to identifiable stress, which you obviously have. It normally resolves eventually but getting supportive psychotherapy can smooth the process out and perhaps speed it along. Staying in this condition is not to be expected. Please continue to see your doc. Peace and good health.
