Sertraline (Zoloft (sertraline) ): Sertraline (Zoloft )is used to treat depression and Anxiety. Dose of 200mg/day is high dose. Lack of response after 2 months with dose of 200mg/day indicates need to see Psychiatrist for Diagnosis; side effects of Sertraline, decreasing the dose, use of Effexor (venlafaxine) or Wellbutrin; and Therapy for stresses in your life, to develop coping skills, to resolve unpleasant feelings and conflicts.

Depression: Presumably you're taking maximum dose Sertraline for depression. While some Psychiatrists might be willing to prescribe higher doses, most FamilyDoc would either change medication completely or add something else. Better yet, see your prescribing doc and ask to confirm your diagnosis (perhaps you have bipolar depression?). If you're not seeing a Psychiatrist, perhaps ask for referral or 2nd opinio
