Cut: I assume you are asking what should you do about the cut. With time it should heal itself. The more important question is what caused the laceration, and is that something that deserves attention. Best advice, go see your Dentist.

Cut on gum: Check with your dentist to make sure exactly what it is. If it's just a cut, it will heal within 7-10 days. However, it may be something other than a cut that will require treatment. Any sore in your mouth that doesn't heal within 7-10' days needs to be examined.
