A member asked:

I was told i have a venous angioma on an accidental mri finding. i went to neurologist who didn't feel i need an mra. i'm worried. should i ask again?

Relax: A common and not dangerous vascular malformation of the brain is a venous angioma, which would not be considered a rupture risk. I agree with your neurologist, and do NOT think you require additional studies.

Not to worry.: Venous Angioma is a benign finding that portends hardly any problem at all. I too would not recommend MRA for you particularly if it was found accidentally or incidentally.
