Can a small brain aneurysm be seen on an mri with contrast(iodine)?i didn't get an mra but back then i didn't have headaches everyday.i'm 20& worried

Maybe Not: Even an MRA can miss a very small aneurysm. Here is the problem, with a headache patient, in an ideal world, it would be nice if we could get MRI/MRA studies on every patients. BUT insurance companies think different. If aneurysm is a worry, I often have to show that a regular MRI was "negative" before insurances will allow an MRA and STILL have to fill out gobs of paperwork to justify.

MRI vs MRA: Can you send us the MRI cuts? Depends on how thin cuts were and who read scans. Small aneurysms can be missed. Consult with us to help solve this issue.
