A member asked:

I am restating my question bc it was misleading. 3 months ago i got an mri/mra for headaches, everything was fine but i was told i have a basilar artery fenestration. im worried that the radiologist read it wrong. what if i have a basilar dissection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You are to follow up with your regular doctor and express you concern. The doctors when they have concern about reading would talk with the radiologist to clarify there concerns and have other options that we call differential diagnosis discussed. You could talk to your doctor and express you concern so you could get verification and clarity of what may be happening.
