Pain and swelling may not be uncommon, but it's not normal. To make sure your symptoms are not an indication of a more severe problem, see a wisdom tooth specialist, an Oral Surgeon. Seek consultation before your nagging chronic problem becomes a severe acute problem, in the middle of the night, or over a long weekend, or when the Specialist is on vacation.
