Hard to tell: Without seeing the ball it is hard to tell what it might be.... I would suggest having the dentist that removed the wisdom teeth take a look.

Swelling: Probably swelling near the incision of a lower widsom tooth. Within normal limits. See your oral surgeon if symptoms persist.
