Not normal: Sometimes wisdom teeth are valuable asset when healthy and properly aligned, but more often, they are misaligned and require removal. The removal of wisdom teeth is one of the most common procedures at ages 15-24. See your dentist for evaluation and x-rays.

Could be: Without seeing the tooth and X-rays it would be hard to predict, swelling and bleeding are never good, if this does not get better in the next few days you should be seeing a dentist, the tooth may end up fine but on the other hand it may have to be removed if there is not enough room to grow properly.. Meanwhile try some mouthwash (warm water and salt several times a day) and some OTC Ibuprofen.
