See your surgeon: You may have a stone retained in your biliary tract or other problems with biliary drainage. See your surgeon so he or she can investigate further.

Sometimes: It takes a while for your system to get accustomed to absence of organ that it was using to store bile. Ask your surgeon for details, but i think your pain should subside at about 6 to 8 weeks after surgery.
