I previously answered your question. Abdominal adhesions after laparoscopic cholecystectomy, if present, do not cause chronic pain which is treated with Gabapentin. People may have pain after cholecystectomy which is called post cholecystectomy syndrome, almost same as phantom limb pain, but the pain is usually not persistent. If you have this pain, dose of gabapentin can be increased as tolerated
