A member asked:

Which antipsychotic is best for treating (or causing the least amount of) anhedonia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anhedonia/depression: Anhedonia is not treated with antipsychotics. Anhedonia is a lack of motivation due to depression. I would ask your GP or Psychiatrist to prescribe an appropriate anti-depressant or go to a psychologist who does Cognitive-Behvioral or light Therapy..I would personally prefer therapy to medication personally unless you have a long history of depression or have it in your familly.
