Common transition: Between 6-9 mo most infants begin to realize they depend on their primary source people & can develop a separation anxiety.If they wake & don't see you immediately they can become fully awake and fuss.It takes into the 2nd year before this passes.You might just look at a clock & wait 5m before checking.
