A member asked:

Good day, doc! i am a 23 year old female. i want to join or enroll myself at a particular military school, but they required their applicants to have 152.5 cm tall and i am only 151.5 cm. do i still have a chance to get any taller? how? thank you?

Once your growth plates close you'll not grow any taller. This usually happens by age 20. Your best hope is to stretch and also improve your posture to appear taller but actual measurement may not make their criterion for height although it's worth trying for the less than 1/2 inch you need. Could a physical trainer help you?
