What's 16yo?: Assuming that you're referring to medication, it's unlikely that it's still effective after that much time has passed especially under less than ideal storage environment. If you don't think you can wait until your appointment, go to Urgent Care. Better yet, call your Family Doc and tell him/her what's going on. Maybe s/he can take care of your concern until tomorrow (Mon) or direct you to UC.
