Get it checked: Any growth or lump that you have must be checked by a physician to assess its size and its possible cause. after a physical exam, the doctor may order an imaging study(X-Ray or Ultrasound) in order to find out the cause and extent of the tumor. A biopsy is sometimes necessary if the doctor suspects Cancer as opposed to infection as the cause(Infection causing it makes it tender to touch)
