Spurring is the --: --short way of putting it.@ Your age it's a sign of early degenerative process in the knee. May have been the same images if done a few years back. See an orthopedic surgeon for treatment, that includes NSAIDS if able 2 take them, as well as activity modification. Weight is a problem with all weight bearing joints. Good luck.

I have had xrays on my left knee to see what is wrong with it due to it being swollen and hurting back in July. I was diagnosed with have patella in both knees. After physical therapy, my swelling went down - but now its back when I am moving a lot. It doesnt hurt but there is a lot of fluid on the knee and it seems to go away when I work out. But swells when Im doing daily activities: walking, etc. wondering if I need to go back to the doctor or continue PT exercises Swollen Left Knee?
