Odontalgia : .The question would be whether on one side whether it occurs at rest despite being worse when she brushes her teeth. If it only occurs when she brushes her teeth, And occurs none at all w/o brushing teeth, Reconsider dental origin still. If the symptoms are old ones, shooting and stabbing in quick jokes, works when brushing, If the symptoms are shooting /stabbing, consider trigeminal neuralgia.

Pain: If there's pain, there's something wrong. Did either you or your daughter report the pain, or were you hoping the Dentist wouldn't find anything. Ask your Dentist to reexamine, or seek a second opinion, or see a Pediatric a Dental Specialist instead of a GP, or seek evaluation at a Dental School. Your child should not be in pain. Please pursue finding cause/treatment.
