Yes: When several teeth are involoved it may be a sinus infection. If the teeth are ruled out you can seek the advice of an ent.

Of course: Only dentist can determine cause of pain and appropriate treatment. Know that you can damage teeth/gums by over-brushing. Excess use of alcohol containing mouthwash can desiccate tissues. Failure to clean between teeth where toothbrush can't reach can also cause damage. Please call your dentist to get this fixed before it gets worse.
