Maybe not: Actually, if you received a cleaning, you may be feeling the small spaces where the tartar used to be. Very common misconception!

Go back to dentist : Call your dentist and let them know the problem. They should be able to get you back in right away and finish removing the tartar that is bothering you. They should be willing to correct this problem for you at no charge.

What treatment ?: Did you have a cleaning? If so, you may be right. Hard to say without visualization. In any event you should call your dentist and s/he should have you back in to determine the cause of your problem. If you had fillings, they can easily be smoothed out. All the best...

Back to your dentist: It's hard to know what you are actually feeling without seeing you. It could be a number of things as already mentioned by my colleagues. In any case, a return visit to your dentist will easily either fix the problem or explain to you what you are feeling and why.
