No issue: If your daughter is 5 yes old and only has 1 diopter cylindrical power then it is not an issue . It is a lower power astigmatism. It depends what axis of steepness (astig) if 90 degree with the rule which is very common among children then it will correct itself with age. If she has against the rule 180 degree then it may progress which is very uncommon among children.
