A member asked:

Do people with light-colored eyes have more problems with lasik surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Iris Pigment: The color of your iris should have NO bearing on LASIK surgery outcome. Having stated that, light colored irides may be slightly more light sensitive due to allowing more light to enter the eye, but this effect is more related to the pupil size than the color. If one's pupil dilates more than another, it may cause more aberrations as the light enters the pupil.
