A member asked:

Ekg at the er. it said cannot rule out anterior infarct, age undetermined. the dr marked through it and put normal. why did he do that? i'm scared

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The EKG machine: has a computer which reads the EKG.. Sometimes the computer over-reads the EKG and makes statements that are not true. It is up to the physician to read the EKG and render his opinion as to what the EKG is actually recording. That is what happened in your case. I would stop worrying. The Dr. does not think you ever had an infarct. Go with what he says.
